बचपन में पोलियो ने Dr. K. S. Rajanna से उनके दोनों हाथ और पैर छीन लिए लेकिन उनके हौसले को नहीं। कर्नाटक के एक छोटे से गाँव से निकलकर उन्होंने हार को अपनी ताकत बना लिया। संघर्षों के बीच पढ़ाई की और अपने इरादों से दुनिया को बदल दिया।
Paralympics में गोल्ड और सिल्वर जीतकर उन्होंने साबित किया— जीत शरीर से नहीं, सोच से मिलती है। बाद में वे बने कर्नाटक के पहले State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities और लाखों ज़िंदगियों के लिए उम्मीद की आवाज़। और 2024 में मिला Padma Shri सम्मान उनके संघर्ष और हौसले को मिला देश का सलाम।
