2025 Skoda Octavia RS Launch on 17 Oct – Bookings Open from 6 Oct

The new 2025 Skoda Octavia RS performance sedan is all set to hit Indian roads on 17th October. Bookings for the model will officially commence on 6th October, while deliveries are slated to begin on 6th November. Only 100 units of the Octavia RS will be imported and sold in India. While the official prices will be revealed next month, the performance Skoda is estimated to be priced around Rs 50 – 55 lakh (ex-showroom).

Starting with its engine, the new Skoda Octavia RS derives power from a 2.0L turbo petrol engine paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. The motor generates a maximum power of 265bhp and 370Nm of torque. It accelerates 0 to 100kmph in 6.4 seconds, while attainting a top speed of 250kmph.

The sedan offers a FWD (front-wheel drive) system and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential on the front axle. However, the India-spec Octavia RS will miss out on the Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) adaptive suspension system, which is offered on the global model. The performance sedan sources braking power from the 340 X 30mm front and 310 X 22mm rear ventilated disc brakes.
