Royal Enfield has announced the full GST benefit with the entire 350 cc range becoming more accessible

Royal Enfield has confirmed that it will pass on the complete benefit of the recently announced GST 2.0 reforms to its customers across motorcycles, service, apparel and accessories. It comes as part of the government’s restructuring of GST slabs which has reduced duties significantly, making two-wheelers under 350cc more affordable than ever before. Customers can expect to see the new prices reflected across dealerships starting September 22, 2025.

The most significant impact will be seen in Royal Enfield’s 350 cc portfolio which has been the brand’s backbone for decades. With a price reduction of up to Rs. 22,000, the Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350 are now even more attractive to first-time buyers and others. For motorcycles above 350 cc, prices will also change in accordance with the revised GST slab.

Commenting on the announcement, B Govindarajan, Managing Director – Eicher Motors Ltd. and CEO – Royal Enfield, said: “The Government of India’s latest GST reform will not only make motorcycles under 350cc more accessible but also excite first-time buyers. Royal Enfield is delighted to pass on the full GST benefit directly to our consumers, opening the world of Royal Enfield to an even larger community of riders. With the reduced prices, our 350cc range delivers an unmatched balance of heritage, performance, and reliability while becoming more appealing than ever before.”

The GST 2.0 reforms have streamlined the taxation system for automobiles. For smaller vehicles and two-wheelers, the GST rate has been reduced to 18 per cent, a huge reduction from the earlier effective tax slabs of 28 per cent or higher. It is particularly beneficial for brands like Royal Enfield whose most popular motorcycles fall under the sub-350cc category – directly translating into price cuts that enhance mass affordability.

Over the years, Royal Enfield has established itself as a motorcycle manufacturer and also as a lifestyle brand. The company’s 350 cc lineup has been instrumental in shaping the midsize motorcycle market in India as well as across the globe. With the latest GST 2.0 based price cuts, the segment will likely see higher demand from younger buyers.

Targetting festive season, Royal Enfield dealerships are expected to witness increased footfalls as customers line up to take advantage of the new benefits. Alongside, the company’s efforts in strengthening its apparel and accessories business, now also made more affordable, are expected to aid Royal Enfield in gaining more consumers.

For motorcycling enthusiasts in India, the GST 2.0 reforms combined with Royal Enfield’s proactive pass-through should ensure that the dream of owning an RE is closer than ever before.
