Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has issued a voluntary recall for the Africa Twin to fix a wiring issue. Honda says that bikes manufactured between 2019 and 2025 are part of this recall campaign. However, the company hasn’t disclosed the exact number of units that are affected. According to the company, normal steering movements bend the wiring harness inside the handlebar repeatedly. Over time, this can cause oxidation at the wire joints, leading to electrical problems. Honda will notify customers to get their bikes checked at their nearest Honda BigWing dealership. They can get the faulty parts replaced free of cost, starting the last week of January 2026.
