The recently announced GST 2.0 has made cars and SUVs more affordable in India. All car manufacturers have welcomed the government’s move and announced significant price reductions across their ICE (internal combustion engine) product lineup. The new GST prices will come into effect from September 22, 2025.

Maruti Suzuki has also announced price reductions across its model lineup, ranging from Rs 30,000 to Rs 1.11 lakh. India’s top-selling MPV, the Maruti Ertiga is now more affordable by up to Rs 47,000. The entry-level LXI and VXI manual variants received price cuts of up to Rs 32,000 and Rs 36,000, respectively. Prices of the ZXI manual variant has been reduced by Rs 39,000, while the ZXI+ manual trim gets more affordable by up to Rs 41,000.

The VXI, ZXI and ZXI+ automatic variants are now cheaper by Rs 41,000, Rs 44,000 and Rs 47,000, respectively. Buyers opting for the CNG VXI and ZXI trims can save up to Rs 39,000 and Rs 42,000, respectively. The fleet-oriented Tour M MT and CNG variants received price cuts of Rs 36,000 and Rs 38,000, respectively.
