His maiden long trip was from Pune to Amritsar, where he explored the capabilities of cruise control and learned that pacing speed effectively helps maintain battery efficiency on highways without fast-charging stations. His well-planned trips are meticulously segmented, blending charging stops with meal and rest breaks for comfortable travel.
The highlight was an epic five-day journey crossing the Darjeeling-Nepal route, where regenerative braking and uphill-downhill driving techniques helped Rochak save significantly on charging—effectively achieving “free” driving over multiple days. This journey underscored the Windsor EV’s adaptability to diverse terrains and longer drives.
