New TVS Apache RTR 160 and 200 4Vs come with a revised front fascia boasting new projector headlamp, LED DRLs and a five-inch TFT screen
TVS Motor Company has today announced the launch of its celebratory 20th anniversary editions of the Apache series of motorcycles in India as the TVS Apache RTR 160, 180, 200 and TVS Apache RR310 and RTR310 received limited editions. However, the biggest highlight is the introduction of the updated versions of the popular Apache RTR 160 and 200 4Vs.
Firstly, the 20th anniversary limited edition lineup, marking the Apache brand’s two decades of presence with over six and a half million customers across the globe, features a dual-tone black and champagne gold livery along with dual tone alloy wheels in black and gold along with an USB charger and a dedicated commemorative 20-year logo.
The new Apache RTR 160 4V and RTR 200 4V come equipped with an all-new Class-D projector headlamp paired with signature LED DRLs. The bikes also gain a 5-inch TFT cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and Voice Assist along with traction control system and an assist and slipper clutch. The smaller naked is sold in new shades of Racing Red, Marine Blue and Matte Black.
The new Apache RTR 200 4V can now be had in Matte Black and Granite Grey. Backing the cosmetic and technology additions is the most powerful 160 cc air/oil-cooled engine as the performance figures as well as dimensions remain the same. Segment-first features include three ride modes, dual-channel ABS, turn-by-turn navigation and adjustable brake and clutch levers are provided too.
The Apache RTR 160 4V now starts with the Black Edition at Rs. 1,28,490 and stretches up to the newly introduced Top-End TFT + Projector Headlamp Variant at Rs. 1,47,990. Meanwhile, the RTR 200 4V begins with the USD + LCD Variant priced at Rs. 1,53,990 – going up to the new top-spec TFT + Projector Headlamp Variant at Rs. 1,59,990.
The special edition range includes the Apache RTR 160 at Rs. 1,37,990, RTR 180 at Rs. 1,39,990, RTR 160 4V at Rs. 1,50,990, and RTR 200 4V at Rs. 1,62,990. Premium offerings like the Apache RTR 310 and Apache RR 310 are priced at Rs. 3,11,000 and Rs. 3,37,000, respectively.
