Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW), Patiala, one of the premier production units of Indian Railways, has released the official notification for engagement of 225 Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for the training year 2025-26. ITI passed candidates from recognized institutes can apply online from 01st December 2025. The last date to submit the online application is 22nd December 2025 (up to 5:00 PM).

✅ PLW Patiala Apprentice 2025-26 Age Limit:
- Minimum: 15 years
- Maximum: 22 years for Welder (G&E) trade
- Maximum: 24 years for all other trades
- Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules (SC/ST/OBC/Ex-SM/PwBD etc.)
✅ PLW Patiala Apprentice 2025 Stipend:
- 1st Year of Training: ₹7,000/- per month
- 2nd Year of Training: ₹7,700/- per month
- 3rd Year of Training: ₹8,050/- per month

- Welder (G&E): 8th Class Pass + ITI in Welder trade
- All Other Trades: 10+2 (Intermediate) Pass + ITI/NCVT in the respective trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute
