Skoda has announced that it plans to launch the Octavia RS in India by early November. As reported earlier, the car will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU). The latest iteration of the Octavia RS was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year. The show car was finished in a unique neon green shade. The sporty RS gets subtle design tweaks compared to the standard version. The car has a blacked-out front grille, sporty bumpers, dual exhausts, and a lip spoiler at the back. 18-inch wheels are standard, but you also have the option of 19-inch rims. On the inside, you get sporty bucket seats, a 3-spoke steering wheel, a large central touchscreen, and carbon fibre and Alcantara trim on the dashboard. The Octavia RS uses a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 261 BHP and 270 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
