Toyota Land Cruiser Rally Raid Unveiled, Will Be Limited To Only 12 Units With 12 Conversion Kits For GR-Sport Owners
Toyota has unveiled the Land Cruiser Rally Raid, a limited edition celebrating Team Land Cruiser’s 12th Dakar Rally victory. It combines rugged design updates with mechanical enhancements, based on the GR Sport. Toyota Auto Body highlights its expertise in building SUVs and special-use vehicles with the model.
Styling Changes
The SUV gains 18-inch Enkei PDT1 alloy wheels paired with Toyo Open Country all-terrain tyres. Red brake callipers, tow hooks, and mud flaps enhance its motorsport-inspired appeal. The Rally Raid’s exterior transformation is completed by TLC graphics.
Interior Changes
Mechanical upgrades include revised suspension and cab mounts, improving the GR Sport’s already capable off-road setup. Inside, leather and Ultrasuede upholstered seats feature in the cabin. A Rally Raid plaque on the console further distinguishes the interior.
Engine
Power comes from the familiar 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel, producing 304 HP and 700 Nm of torque. A 10-speed automatic gearbox pairs with this engine. Front and rear electronic differentials ensure excellent off-road performance.
Pricing
Toyota will manufacture only 12 Rally Raid units, priced at 9.38 million yen or USD 63,500. Additionally, 12 conversion packages are available for GR Sport owners. Some components will also be available individually at Japanese dealerships.
Delivery Date
Interested buyers must enter a lottery between September 11 and 28 at Toyota dealerships. Toyota dealerships will announce winners after October 17. Toyota will begin deliveries for the Rally Raid in December.
