About UPSSSC Pharmacist Recruitment 2026
The State Government of Uttar Pradesh has established Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) for the recruitment of various Group-C and Group-D Government Jobs in the state of Uttar Pradesh for its various departments and organisations. The Pharmacist Recruitment 2026 is being conducted by the UPSSSC for the Medical and Health Services Directorate after a long gap.
UPSSSC Pharmacist Recruitment 2026 Vacancies
- Pharmacist: 560 vacancies (UR-224, EWS-56, OBC-151, SC-118, ST-11) (Freedom fighter Dependent-11, PWD-22, Women-112, Ex.SM-28, Sportpersons-11) in the Medical and Health Services Directorate of Uttar Pradesh
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: 18-40 years as on 01/01/2026
- Pay Scale: Pat Level-5 of 7th CPC ₹29200-92300/-
- Eligibility: The candidate will be allowed to appear in the exam based on the mark obtained in the Preliminary Eligibility Test- PET-2025.
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy and must be registered with the Pharmacy Council of Uttar Pradesh.
Application Fee
An application fee of ₹25/- is to be paid by each candidate as the processing fee, to be paid online or in SBI by a payment challan.

Recruitment Exam Scheme
The preliminary test is the UP PET, i.e. those who have passed the UP PET 2025 are eligible to appear in the main examination. The main examination 2025 for Pharmacist vacancies will be of two-hour duration of 100 questions and 100 marks. The questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Pattern, whereas each question will have one mark for a correct answer, and .25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
